- Conventional front cover and looks professional, the photography and the way the star interacts with the camera is good and creates meaning through the emotion on the stars face.
- Headline anchored to the star, conventional and allows reader to see the relationship between image and headline.
Subheading relevant to the storyline, playing on pop culture by referencing a film for the title of the article, audience familiarity.
Branding is clear and consice , some of the ITV colours are also present in the colour scheme, promoting brand identity across all three products.
other stories referencing existing media products, more realistic and beliavable.
The picture in the bottom right hand is also from the trailer and is relevant to the main article.

Conventional layout of the magazine, star has eye contact with audience and the stars eyes are in the top third of the page. Other articles and stories are set around the star to show the star as the most important feature.
smaller details like the institution (IPC) at the bottom left of the page, the date and the barcode all make the cover more realistic and believable.
as it takes influence from 'Tv and satelliete Week' it follows the conventions of this magazine, the title of the magazine is in the same space and the 'Best for sky & Virgin is lifted from this publication, all helping to make it look more realistic.
Language familiar to the audience, "Hot or Not" is a common phrase used to rate shows. Key, audience grabbing words are also included, 'Exclusive', 'NEW' & 'Latest'
Eliminating the distortion around the image makes it look neater and more professional.
Target audience of 16-24 year olds is targeted through the star being the same age as the audience, and referencing other soaps and programmes aimed at this audience again helps promote the soap.
